Analyst Sales Finance

A leading investment bank is looking to hire Sales Finance Analyst to join the team in Singapore.

Main Duties

Join the sales Finance Asia team, providing advice and support to the Distribution Sales teams globally. Main Function: Work closely with Sales and other business partners to ensure appropriate capture of Sales Credits to enable accurate and insightful reporting on Sales Revenue and helping the business understand the key financial drivers to their performance. This includes partnering with Sales Planning and coordinating with Technology teams on process enhancement/new system initiatives and at the same time maintaining an active oversight on sales credit transactions.

Main Duties:

• Be the primary contact for sales credit queries and failing trades globally ensuring resolution within agreed service levels.
• Communicate and escalate run-the-bank issues arising from queries and failing trades.
• Be able to work independently with tech and other support groups where necessary for issues resolution.
• Chair weekly meetings with UK Sales Finance to keep abreast of regional issues impacting sales credits.
• Ensure appropriate minutes are circulated with action items communicated and that stakeholder expectations are managed appropriately.
• Produce key weekly and quarterly statistics report relating to sales credit queries/ failing trades to identify key risk areas.
• Perform meaningful analysis on reports and provide insightful commentary that can be translated into action plans.
• Ensure that reports are clearly communicated through appropriate channels (eg Regional COOs, Sales Finance management etc)
• Play an active role in identifying opportunities for process improvements to drive efficiencies.

Person Requirements

Qualifications/Education:

• University degree or equivalent
• (Preferred) Qualified accountant

Experience:

• Min 4-5 yrs experience in banking and finance
• (Preferred) Investment banking, product control, or securities and capital market experience
