We currently seek a Financial Business Analyst for our Singaporean and South East Asian office located in the East of Singapore. Working within a small but dynamic team, this position reports to our Regional Finance Director in China.

Business Analyst – Finance

Eastern location in modern offices

Responsibilities include:

• Business planning and profitability analysis – budgets, forecasts, evaluation of costs and productivity and development of models for analytical review
• Monthly analysis and reporting – expense, budget, exception, variance and margin analysis and review
• Data control – acts as the expert in the company forecasting system, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data used across systems and throughout planning cycles
• Ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial analysis or commercial analysis
• Exceptional Excel and Powerpoint skills with a strong understanding of reporting and information systems
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Results oriented with attention to detail
• Hyperion experience is preferred but not essential
