CAD DESIGNER / CHINESE LANGUAGE

Ministry of Design is looking for a CAD DESIGNER for its Singapore head office.

This award-winning integrated spatial design practice is renowned for its hospitality, residential and office

projects in Singapore, Beijing and Thailand.

Job Scope:

• Work directly with Design Team to develop design ideas and provide elegant and functional design-focused detailing, especially for Hotels, Restaurants and Residential architecture and interiors
• Research, plan and draw out Schematic, Design Development and Construction Drawings quickly and efficiently
• Provide drawing annotations in Chinese, and translate Chinese annotations into English
• Provide leadership in areas of construction feasibility, structural, M&E implications to Design Team
• Liaise with suppliers to understand various material specifications and implications on detailing

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Architecture or Interiors
• Min 6 years of design and autocad experience; at least 3 years in Hospitality & High-end residential sectors
• Strong in construction methodology; possess 2-3 years of construction management
• Fluent in English & Mandarin – spoken & written
• Detail oriented, with a big-picture perspective to solving design issues
• Passionate about spatial design and its impact on experiences
