During the past 3 years, in Latin America and in South-East Asia, Bionersis and its 100 employees has completed more than 15 landfill gas recovery projects, and 10 more are under development at the moment. Strong of our success, our activities extend in Indonesia, starting with a landfill site in Batam which is already under development and is to be equipped during the following months. Construction Manager

Job description

Preparing the whole field construction:

• Supervising the local contractors (well driller, excavation work and gas piping)
• Following up the work schedule
• Managing the budget
• Coordinating with landfill operator
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with construction and safety codes, and other regulations.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and contractor.
• Manage contracts and revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with contractors and suppliers
• Arrange and obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
• Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
• Prepare and submit budget progress and cost tracking reports.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractor , and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

Directing and controlling the whole field construction to ensure the project completion within budget, schedule and standard:

• Understanding and implementing the engineering drawings
• Project staffing plan
• Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Leading the staff on site and Supervisory control
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.

Skills required

• 10 years experience, in Indonesia, in the gas piping and/or water piping contruction
• 5 to 10 years experience as a Construction Manager
• Experience in civil work, mechanical equipment & electrical installation
• Mechanical or Civil engineering degree
• Good English
• Team working in an international environment
• Willing to temporary stay at project site for 2 month

Salary:

• Gross salary negotiable depending on the experience:
• Monthly allowance for transportation

• Main Office : Jakarta

Starting date: 1st February 2010 – Permanent contract
