The Meridian Group of companies has interests in shipping agencies, shipbroking, NVOCC (dry, reefer and liquid), containers logistics shipping software and consultancy support services. Our core business is container liner agency.

We presently have offices in Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and Malaysia and have staff strength of over 200 personnel regionally.

DOCUMENTATION OFFICER

Duties and Responsibilities:

Within the documentation department, each team member ensures that documentation tasks are completed before closing time. Their primary role includes but is not limited to :

• Handling of documentation for Import shipments – Notice of Arrival, Invoices, Import Status, Delivery Order, MRS Submission.
• Handling of documentation for Export shipments – Prepare Bill of Ladings / Manifests, Invoices, MRS Submission.
• Liaise regularly with overseas offices and customers to ensure smooth delivery of shipments.
• Handle any other duties / tasks assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be a team player but also possess the ability to work independently.
• Have a service oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Those with relevant experience will be most advantageous.
• Those able to start work at short notice will be preferred.

Working hours/ Working location/ Salary range

• Working Hours: 9am – 6pm (Monday – Friday).
• Working Location: Town.
• Remuneration will be commensurated with experience.
