Electrical/Mechanical/Software/Process Engineer

Basic Job Functions:

Electrical/Mechanical Engineer provides engineering oversight to solar modules manufacturing facility set up. Has ultimate responsibility to ensure mechanical and electrical works for facility setup meets process requirements, schedule and budget. Has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing and executing assignments.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronic, Mechanical, or equivalent.

Experience:

• At least 2 years working experience preferably in renewable solar energy industry (Fresh Graduates welcome to justify eligibility)
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry desirable.
• An energetic and highly resourceful individual with a passion for success in a dynamic work environment

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with PLC and mechanical design softwares required.
• Knowledge in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook and project.)
• Familiar with M&E code of practice and knowledge in equipment safety procedures.
• Familiarity with vacuum sputtering system is desired.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills.

Essential functions & Responsibilities

• Assist in the mechanical and electrical works required for setting up of thin film solar modules manufacturing facility.
• Responsible for communicating electrical and mechanical requirements to vendors.
• Develop best practices and implement routine checks on Infrastructure and Manufacturing equipments e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Fire life Safety Systems.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance activities on all facility equipments.
• Ensures that all contractors, Vendors on site aware of and adhere to all Company Safety Procedures and that they signify by signing the proper documentation.
• Liaise with local Authority to ensure all standard regulations are followed.
• Responsible to develop/ maintain facility engineering drawings, Operation Manual and SOP.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery within the facility.
