Our business forms part of the Fluid Power Group Aerospace Operations and manufactures a variety of static and dynamic seals and bellows for critical fluid control and containment systems in demanding Aerospace applications.

We currently have a vacancy in our Batam operation and would like to invite highly motivated individuals to grow with us in this position:

Engineer – Manufacturing

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To support the daily operations of Seals department in solving technical issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead, guide and train a team of technicians.
• Provide hands on and documentation technical support for manufacturing operations.
• Identify, improve and develop new processes for new and existing products.
• Manages Tooling Control System within manufacturing operations.
• Manages ERP system which includes but not limited to management of Manufacturing Lead Time, BOM structuring and cleanup.
• Liaise with internal and external customers for resolution of technical issues.
• Provide support and participate in Lean and continuous improvement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS / ATTRIBUTES:

• Degree/Diploma in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience working in an manufacturing environment as a technical personnel.
• Ability to interpret technical assembly and component drawings.
• Experience in forming, rolling and welding processes will be highly advantages. Preferred to have experience in heat treatment processes.
• Knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing Tools and Six Sigma will be required. Experience in Engineering Change Management highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic communications.
• Knowledge for Pro_Launch, FMEA and 8D preferably (training to be provided).
