FINANCE/ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Assume a key role in raising debt for the company’s investment developments.
• Recommend sound debt structures, review and negotiate loan documents with lawyers and administer the loan portfolio.
• Prepare proposal and project profile for new loan financing/refinance/renewals/revisions purposes, undertake qualitative evaluation and make sound recommendation for the loan.
• Review and/or negotiate letters of offers with bankers.
• In-depth review of loan documents, negotiate with banks/lawyers, conclude loan documentation to ensure timely disbursement of funds.
• Manage and recommend effective deployment of funds (for example, placement of fixed deposits/reimbursements/loan repayment or repayment, operation of Project Accounts).
• Promptly attend to queries and information update requested by banks/management.
• Review reasonableness of basis of valuation of properties and negotiate with valuers, if necessary.
• Undertake effective implementation of investment administration.
• Supervise and train finance / accounts assistant.
• Keep updated on developments in logistics sectors.
• Assist superior in any ad-hoc assignments
• Japanese Speaker would be advantageous

Job Specification:

• Only candidates with minimum five years’ relevant experience in corporate banking of a financial institution or financial department of a service or logistics industry will be considered.
• Degree or Diploma in Banking/Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Good communication, analytical, negotiation and amicable flexible interpersonal skills.
