EIRE Systems IT project management services include design and management for the construction, relocation and upgrade of IT infrastructure, BCP/DR impact analysis and implementations, data centre design and office relocations and retrofits. In addition to providing project management services, EIRE Systems designs and implements network solutions to suit client specifications and time frames.

In the IT consulting field, EIRE Systems provides solutions for server (Unix and NT) and desktop implementations, upgrades and rollouts. The company has considerable expertise in implementing and optimizing financial Market Data Systems, and has completed many market data projects in the region. In Managed Services, EIRE Systems provides day-to-day Desktop Support and Helpdesk Operations to leading investment banks.

IT Infrastructure Project Manager

EIRE Systems is looking for a Project Manager who is able to start quickly, to work with one of our top financial services clients on a major IT infrastructure project in Singapore.

Successful candidates will be responsible for managing the implementation of new data centre IT infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions for a large international financial organization. Candidates may also be required to evaluate, analyze and recommend multiple solutions.

This is a wide-ranging position, with many opportunities to gain exposure to some of the latest technologies available on the market. Candidates should be detail-oriented and logical, with good communication and documentation skills. Candidates should be comfortable working on mission-critical projects in fast-paced environments.

Location / Environment
The candidate will work in Singapore. The Candidate should be comfortable working without constant supervision and must be able to identify and prioritize tasks.

The candidate should be able to work within 1 month.

The candidate should be a seasoned IT professional, experienced in the planning and implementation of a wide array of technical and business projects. The individual must be able to identify and address the hardware, software, planning, scheduling and personnel issues pertinent to the implementation of an effective infrastructure project.

Additionally, the following specific knowledge would be advantageous:

• Experience of planning and implementing a large IT Project, or several smaller projects, and able to demonstrate such experience.
• Project planning for systems and application software, PCs, PBXs, distributed platforms and networks.
• Project management skills, including scheduling, resourcing and vendor management. Budgets, proposal justification and cost analysis.
• Competent use of presentation and project management software.
• Basic knowledge of investment banking IT concepts, with an emphasis on the type of applications and infrastructure used to support Dealing Room and Operations functions
• Experience of working with and managing a diverse team on IT Staff, and third party vendors.

Candidates must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
