IT Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT Function of the Group including infrastructure (hardware, software and network) development, IT security and maintenance, as well as application development serving staff of the Group.
• Plan and execute the roll-out IT system, technologies and applications to meet business needs and ensure maximum returns on investment of the Group.
• Ensure operational efficiencies through the effective implementation of IT and communications technologies
• Develop policies and procedures and ensure their compliance
• Contract negotiations and project management of IT development projects
• Budget planning and control

Pre-requisites:

• Min Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, with 5 years in a managerial position
• Ability to develop IT strategies
• Broad experience across IT, including architecture, application development, IT operations and project management
• Experience in developing and/or have managed projects in ERP solutions across functional areas
• Good working knowledge of both Apple and PC platforms
• Knowledge in virtualization, storage and networking technologies
• Effective team player with strong skills in communication and people management
• Handle multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritise
