Lecturer/Consultant (IT Risk Management)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach professional courses and postgraduate courses
• Explore the use of new methodologies and technologies through research, joint projects and consultancies with industry
• Advise organizations on the effective and innovative use of IT Risk Management, IT/DR and BCM methodologies, processes and tools
• Participate in student examinations, student project supervision and student recruitment

Requirements:

• A good university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related subjects
• Minimum 7-8 years relevant industry experience in IT Risk & Information Security, IT/DR and BCM, preferably across industry verticals
• Fundamental knowledge and/or hands-on proficiency/experience in the following areas:
• - IT Risk Assessment (Application, Infrastructure, Branch/Entity, Vendor/3rd Party)
• - IT Risk Monitoring
• – IT Risk Response (Security Incident Response Management)
• - IT Risk Reporting (Management Dashboard, Heat Map, Risk Aging, Risk Action Status)
• Fundamental knowledge and/or hands-on proficiency/experience in Business Continuity Management, including defining and facilitating development of BC solutions, testing and assessing of BC solutions, and control and oversight, and BC awareness program
• A good 5 years of Information Security experience, preferably 2 years or more in IS management positions
