Legal Counsel

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting and advising all areas of the Company in legal aspects such as contracts, employment, corporate, and intellectual property issues while facilitating commercial transactions
• Structuring and drafting documents and agreements.
• Provide legal and commercial views and opinions.
• Liaise and negotiate with external party and counsel on contracts and other legal issues.
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulatory requirements.
• Render legal service to business units on operations and business including litigation management.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in law from a recognized university
• Preferably called to the Singapore Bar. Qualification in other Common law jurisdictions will be considered.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ PQE in corporate and commercial work.
• Willing to learn
• Technically sound in law
• Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to interact with people of all levels
