Manager Mapping Expansion Affairs

We are now seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Manager of Mapping Expansion Affairs with their team in Singapore. Under the direction of the Vice President for global expansion, you will identify, manage and coordinate activities and procedures for establishing operations across the South East Asia region. Your key responsibilities include:

• Supporting digital mapping operations across countries and regions in APAC as work is performed in expansion areas
• Develop insight into and understanding of the requirements governmental agencies and state authorities may have regarding creating and commercializing operations in different countries
• Derive scenarios for possible business approaches in countries, including feasibilities studies on acquisitions
• Manage, coordinate, support the activities required to obtain government approvals and permits
• Develop processes and procedures, guidelines and tools to address security issues in the countries in question
• Support regions with New Country Initiation and Legal Entity set-up
• Other duties related to the setup of business in SEA regions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in similar roles for large organizations working across the APAC regions
• Specific experience in the setup of operations in South East Asian countries
• Ability to understand the specifics of the regions in terms of culture, political landscape, history and business outlook
• Digital Mapping operation knowledge or experience would be highly advantageous, otherwise experience or knowledge in field operations
• Understand legal and ethical requirements for countries a company operates in
• Enjoy initiating research, exploring, moving on to new locations
• Enjoy traveling and be able to travel extensively
