National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre

Singapore Cares (SG Cares) is a new initiative from the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) that provides flexible volunteering opportunities for community service.

SG Cares seeks to be the partner of choice for non profit organizations and community institutions in the recruitment, deployment and management of volunteers while being the first stop for people in Singapore seeking flexible volunteering opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

We’re looking for talented team players to help us in a variety of ways –

• Network and partner non-profit organizations, community institutions, as well as schools and corporations to develop and implement programmes and projects that serve the needs of the community.
• Marketing SG Cares to different individuals, special interest groups, schools and companies.
• Plan and manage the recruitment, training and nurturing of volunteers.
• Lead and manage volunteer projects and events.

Requirements:

• Degree Holder.
• Creative and enterprising, with the ability to put ideas into action.
• Versatile and able to thrive in a start-up environment.
• Articulate and engaging; you have a knack for generating conversation and discussion whether in spoken or written form; online or offline.
• You’re likely to be an active citizen, championing some cause or you’re a regular volunteer with some charity or non-profit organization.
• Experience in the non-profit space, with B2B marketing or credit card marketing and customer relationship management, fundraising, event management, volunteer management and/or customer relations will be useful.
