MARINE SUPERINTENDENT

Roles and responsibilities:

• To plan and train our Crew on reporting and understanding their job scope under the ISM
• Identify, train and retain good crew on board
• Knowledge of MPA, class survey and repair maintenance
• To oversee all safety & navigation matters on board company’s vessel
• To be proficient in regulatory procedures set down by international marine regulatory bodies
• Liaise with master of vessel on voyage performance, cargo operations report and vessel safety issues
• Maintenance of Ship Certificates
• Hands on experience in maintenance & servicing of engines
• Advise mechanic on repair

Pre-requisites:

• Fleet management experience of at least 3 years
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
