A well-established European lingerie manufacturing group, certified WRAP and BSCI, is looking for a Merchandising and Purchasing Manager to support his rapid growth.

Merchandising and Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead the merchandising and purchasing team of 14 Merchandisers to business objectives and strategies fixed by the management.
• Negotiation with factories and fabric mills to achieve best prices/services.
• Work to ensure a seamless co-ordination with internal colleagues related to production quality team and development issues.
• Production co-ordination with CMT factories.
• Manage and lead the department to ensure compliance with job responsibilities, objectives and working process.
• Provide day-to-day operational direction to the merchandising staff to ensure total customer satisfaction: delivery on time of required quality products.
• To help factories partner to achieve social compliance.

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of working experience preferably in the lingerie industry
• Diploma or Degree holder
• Good communication skills
• Able to provide constructive solutions and directions for manufacturer to improve fit, construction, product appearance and cost
• A strong leader to inspire, mentor and develop the technical team
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex technical problems, which have impact to the business
• Putonghua and English speaking is a must.
• Station in PRC factory near Guangzhou 5.5 days
