Merchandising/Purchasing Executive

Job Scope/ Responsibilities:

• Responsible for researching the latest trend and purchasing of relevant merchandise for our boutiques.
• Work closely with designers and sales staff to ensure accurate choice of merchandise.
• Creating, refining and/or enforcing sourcing policies
• Handle materials sourcing, participate in product development, orders & production.
• Liaise/ follow-up with suppliers on product developments and enquiries
• Monitor & ensure timely completion of projects and delivery of merchandise
• Maintain & update of samples
• Maintain suppliers database information

Requirements:

• Relevant work experience in same field/ industry is an advantage
• Bilingual in spoken & written English and Chinese
• Good interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
• Good time management skills
• Detail-oriented, conscientious & meticulous in following through each project
• Self-motivated, initiative & able to work independently
• Strong sense of urgency & responsibility
• Effectively manages change, flexible and make timely quality decisions
• Able to effectively handle multi-task and changing levels of responsibilities
• Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills to be able to provide timely feedback and communicate appropriately with other departments;
• Able to travel frequently, up to 70% in a regional capacity.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
