ICON Central Laboratories, with headquarters in Farmingdale, New York is one of the leading central laboratories in the world. We provide global central laboratory services from core facilities in New York, Dublin and Singapore as well as through a network of quality affiliate laboratories worldwide. As part of our continuing expansion programme, we invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following position, which will be based in our Singapore Office:
Office Administrator
Be part of the team in our Central Lab. Job scope includes:
- Carry out administrative functions and maximise efficiency within the company
- Order, track and receive all office supplies.
- Answer general telephone calls. Greet and direct visitors to the facility. Collect and distribute internal mail.
- Coordinates the scheduling of building maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance. Liaise with vendors.
- Code invoices for the appropriate expense and forward to the relevant Finance departments to ensure invoices are paid promptly.
- File purchase orders, copies of invoices and vendor price quotes for all departments.
- Keep track of all documents that are archived internally and externally for the Singapore facility.
- Prepare meeting rooms and agendas for client visits or internal visits. Set-up catering as necessary.
- Update SOP binders when there are changes as directed by Quality Assurance.
Qualifications & Experience Required :-
- Prior experience performing administrative duties.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Office packages.
- Proven ability to work in a busy environment undertaking a variety of tasks
