Project Manager

Responsible for management and executing the company projects in building construction.

Duties include:

• Project management of building construction projects. Ability to oversee the entire process and knowledgeable in project management relating to all operational and administration procedures
• Carry out project planning, cost control, project management and documentation
• Provide the direction in construction planning, coordinate works with sub-contractors, Client and Consultants to ensure overall construction progress based on schedule of works
• Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
• Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with.
• Head a team of project staff
• Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills and presentation meetings.
• Responsible for claims, variation orders, cost control and settlement of final account.
• Getting quotation from sub-contractors and certification of sub-contractor’s progress payment.
• Evaluate tenders/costs, manage contracts and advise project team in contractual matters.
• Performing on-site measurements to verify and validate monthly progress claims from the contractors.

Job Requirements :

• Degree/Diploma holder
• Minimum 5 years with relevant experience in project management of building construction in Singapore.
• Dynamic and motivated personality with good communicative and interpersonal skills
• Good leadership to lead a team of project staff
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Possess Construction Safety Course for Project Managers Certificate
• Preferable knowledge of contract/tender documents and able to work independently.
• Preferable experience in construction site with fitting out works.
• Computer literate and latest AutoCAD.
