R&D Chemist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the entire product development process from raw materials selection and preparation, product formulating and testing, final product evaluation and sampling, as well as safety and stability studies.
• Document all raw materials and final product specifications.
• Ensure all products developed by the company will adhere to local and international cosmetic regulations and safety requirements.
• Oversee the starting-up of a new product from lab-scale to mass production.
• Continuous review of formulations for cost optimization & rationalization of chemicals inventory.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Cosmetic Chemistry or B.Sc (Chemistry)
• Min 5 years working experience
• Experience in microbiology & cosmetic GMP/ISO9001 environment will be an advantage.
• Pleasant personality with willingness to work long hours
