Panasonic Refrigeration Devices Singapore Pte. Ltd. (PRDS) has been incorporated in Singapore in 1972, with the goal of contributing to a better livelihood for people all over the world, through the manufacture and sales of compressors for electric refrigeration & freezers.

PRDS was conferred the Manufacturing Headquarters (MHQ) status by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) on 16 May 2001. R&D Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design simulation and design study of refrigeration compressors
• Applied research on design element to improve compressor performance
• Incremental design improvement of components and parts
• Hands-on sample making & laboratory testing

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical
• Strong foundation in mechanism design, applied mechanic and thermodynamics
• Creative and imaginative in concept creation
• Knowledge in 3D solid modeling will be an added advantage
• Independent and self-motivated team player with a strong sense of responsibility
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
