SAN Storage Engineers / Administrators (EMC)

Job Description:

• Administration of EMC Storage (Symmetrix DMX3, Clariion – CX)
• Administration of SAN Fabric switches Brocade and Cisco
• Expert skills in SAN administration using EMC Connectrix Manager, managing storage using SYMCLI, ECC, Navisphere Manager, Time Finder utility and SRDF tools.
• Administration of EMC powerpath and other Mulitipathing software.
• Good knowledge in DR strategies and recovery is expected
• Good Knowledge in Operating systems (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, Windows).
• Troubleshooting and maintenance

Roles

• Setup Storage Network with various Storages in a SAN & NAS
• Good knowledge in managing EMC DMX Storages and Connectrix or Cisco Fabric Switches.
• Experience in EMC CX and Celera Management
• Configuring zoning policies in SAN environment
• Managing storage allocations for UNIX, Linux and Windows servers.
• Masking of LUNs and Implementing Storage security
• Configuring BCV devices and Timefinder Solutions
• Knowledge in SRDF, SAN Copy and Replication technologies
• Knowledge in managing other storages like HP XP12K, EVA is a Plus

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in EMC Storage Administration and Fabric Switches
• 2-3 years of experience in UNIX environment prior to that
• With good experience in large data centres
• UNIX Shell scripting is must

Other Requirements:

• Excellent communication and Analytical skills
• User-oriented, responsible and able to work independently as well as a team
• Able to manage and work well with people in all levels
