Senior Operation Analyst

i. Position Summary

This position has primary accountability to monitor customer logistics requirements through daily communication and co-ordination of booking, shipment and documentation with vendors, carriers and warehouse as required.

II. Primary Accountabilities

• Communicate with customer to confirm booking & shipment authorization
• Assist supervisor to provide on-job training to junior members
• Communicate with vendors for production, booking and cargo delivery to meeting Customer’ ordering schedule.
• Co-ordinate with carriers for shipment bookings/equipments to meeting vendors’ production schedule.
• Co-ordinate with the vendors for container loading information for SI transmission to the carriers enabling containers to be loaded onboard the planned vessel.
• Prepare Container Loading Plan (CLP) for warehouse on-hand cargo upon the Standard Operations Process (SOP)

III. SKILLS REQUIREMENT

• College or University holder or equivalent qualification
• 2 – 4 years experience with knowledge about trading/transportation industry
• Good command of written/spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin)
• Willing to work overtime
• Good PC skills (basic office application software)
• Good learning and communication skills
