Senior Training Consultant

Reporting to the Director, the role of the Senior Training Consultant is to lead the development of learning solutions that will improve the end-user performance and positively impact key business goals for the client, such as quality, productivity, and safety.

The Senior Training Consultant’s focus is to apply innovative, state of the art learning solutions to improve performance in complex work environments and to demonstrate to the client how to improve overall business results by maximizing the value that workers contribute throughout their organizations. Deliverables include but are not limited to training materials (course manuals, job aids, technical documentation), Instruction (eLearning/Web-based programs, training, management and coordination, process improvement initiatives, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job/process/needs analysis to determine training needs
• Design and create robust technical training course/curriculum for work groups or individuals
• Coordinate the implementation of training plans
• Develop a deliver strategy that may include the use of classroom instruction or elearning interventions
• Instruct training courses
• Create an evaluation strategy to measure the effectiveness of your curriculum and make courseware modifications as necessary
• Effectively manage projects and mentor project team
• Serve as subject matter expert on topic or focus area for a wide range of efforts
• Help support the client in planning functions, design efforts, training roll out, and data collection
• Ad hoc duties may be assigned

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, advanced degree preferred. This position must have five years technical experience. Strong technical writing is required along with interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills, and project management as well as ethics, values, integrity and trust.

Must be able to travel.
