We are inviting suitable candidates to join us as:

Senior/Principal Firmware R&D Engineer – Embedded Networking

Job Scope:

Responsible for the embedded firmware design and development, coding, testing and integration for embedded networking products like Integrated Access Device (IAD), DSL/ADSL Modem/Router, Residential GW etc. using different networking chipsets from vendors like Broadcom, Ralink, TI, Infineon, Connexant etc. in a Singapore based reputed OEM/ODM company.

Requirements:

• Master/Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering from reputed institution
• 5~7 years hands-on experience in Networking device like ADSL modem/router Development
• Hands-on experience in Linux kernel based Layer 2 – Bridging and Layer 3 – Routing
• Hands-on experience in IPTables Rule, EbTables Rule, Route Mgmt, Interface Mgmt
• Strong knowledge in the protocols – PPPoE, PPPoA, DHCP, IGMP, SNMP, ICMP, ARP, TCP, UDP.
• Hands-on experience in Embedded Linux with BSP/NSP is essential
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Scripting language like Linux Shell, Perl, Python
• Strong Analytical skill of debugging of networking issues as daily basis is essential
• Strong knowledge of web-services related technology is essential
• Hands-on experience in using Broadcom/Ralink/Infineon/TI networking chipset is essential
• Working experience in developing architecture of Triple-Play will be treated as BIG PLUS
• Experience in TR069 protocol suite will be treated as BIG PLUS
• Experience in VoIP/SIP hands-on knowledge will be treated as BIG PLUS
• Fluent in English communication and MUST be able to work with minimum supervision
• Must be a team player and willing to go extra mile in a true R&D environment

Person who has the direct and relevant experience of working in DSL/ADSL modem/router, IAD, Residential GW etc. development in purely embedded networking domain are requested to apply ONLY.
