Job Description:

• To design and develop WiMAX (IEEE802.16), and 3.5G/WCDMA/HSDPA, WiFi Broadband, GPS wireless communication Base Station and handheld products respectively.
• To design high speed real-time mixed signal data system to 100Gbps high speed wireless communication systems for WiMaX Base station.
• To design mixed signal base band circuit, CPU and peripheral interfacing integration Architecture using MPC8560, MPC8544E, MPC8533, PMB6952 (3.5G), SMP8634, MB87M3400 (IEEE802.16).
• Responsible for EMC compliance testing and Agencies type approval.
• To perform High Speed mixed signal processing component and sub-systems evaluation, selection and recommendation.
• Responsible for PCB layout for high speed mixed signal performance optimization.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

• Degree/Masters in Electronic/ Telecommunication Engineering with at least 5-year experience in mixed signal system level architecture design and evaluation of Rx/Tx microwave integration.
• In-depth knowledge of WiMax, IPTV Setup Box circuitries and System Interface design.
• Good experience in design and troubleshooting wireless telecommunication products.
• Good knowledge in international signaling standards (CCITT, ITU, ETSI, FCC etc) is essential.
• Strong practical experience in test equipment, regulatory type approval and good debug practice.
• In-depth technical knowledge of GSM and 3G UMTS Network Architecture, Circuit Switching and Signalling System Protocol is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge in circuitries and schematics design is mandatory.
• Familiar with processes, e.g. 6 sigma, DOE, DFM, SPC and DFT.
• Others: Prepare to travel work in Malaysia, China, USA, UK & India for a short period.
