Snr ERP Consultant cum Project Manager (based KL)

Senior ERP Consultant cum Project Manager (2-Yr contractual based in KL)

The primary responsibility of this SENIOR role is to provide consulting plus project leadership, and expertise in ERP design, strategy and implementation in a MANUFACTURING Environment. This includes directing & managing ERP strategy, the enterprise-wide Financials and Supply Chain modules. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on a 2-YR CONTRACTUAL.

This position will be responsible for optimizing and improving the effectiveness of the ERP system by :-

• Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of the ERP application
• Communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
• Direct & manage ERP strategy, the enterprise-wide Financials and Supply Chain modules.
• Lead & participate as an active member in the strategic planning process of the ERP systems across the region
• Formulate and implement ERP programs to support decision making and business management processes
• Ensure conformance to ERP system architecture, communicate best of breed standards and protocols to advance the technological roadmap on ERP Data exchange & network IS, plus compliance requirements
• Develop communication plans, work closely with business process redesign & stakeholders to define training and post-installation support
• Leverage existing solutions and global design to drive standardization and simplification to reduce implementation timelines and costs

Requirements:

• Project Leadership and oversight for ERP Financials and Supply Chain implementations; familiar with at least 1 or more ERP system (i.e. MS Axapta, Great Plains, Movex, SSA, Baan, Epicor, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Hyperion) in a MANUFACTURING or related environment.
• Overall project lead with 10+ years large scale ERP implementation or Big Management Consulting experience including 5yrs in a SENIOR capacity.
• In depth and demonstrated experience in process standardization, configuration and in the decision making/governance process.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing information management strategy
• Extensive experience (typically 10 years) in strategic and systems thinking, business process redesign, and consulting.
• Proven track record in leading multiple large team projects (both in size and scope) to successful completion and managing highly invisible, sensitive business issues through influence, collaboration, and diplomacy.
• Ability to identify key business issues and develop appropriate project plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
• ERP system management experience.
• 15+ years of progressive IT experience
• 5+ years of IT management experience or primary lead for directing IT projects
• 5+ years work experience in a MANUFACTURING environment.
• ERP knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Distribution, Sales, and Financial functions.
• Exceptional Leadership & Planning capabilities.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English; both written & verbal.
• Strong knowledge of cost analysis, bench-marking and best practices would be required,
• Possess strong analytical skills, is highly meticulous and someone who has an eye for details.
• Ability to prioritize time and tasks.
• A team player who is able to work well with others
• Pride in doing excellent work in a fast pace environment
