SYSTEM ENGINEER

The applicant must possess the following pre-requisites:

OVERALL JOB PURPOSES

• To provide technical support, consultancy, configuration, integration, software adaptations and training to end customers through Kaba Asia Pacific organization and partners which includes post installation services (hotline, maintenance, system optimization), in the business fields of Access Management, Workforce Management and Shop Floor Data Collection projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pre-sales Engineering support to local AP Organisations and partners (WFM/AM Projects)
• Provide consulting and implementation services during the project phase
• Develop local customer specific adaptations
• Integration of third party products or software
• Ensure good support to customers
• Identify local market requirement, formalize them and communicate back to CC – Product Management Role
• Provide after-sales support and/or services when required (second level support)

COMPETENCE/PERSONALITY REQUIREMENT

• Technical knowledge: Databases (SQL, Oracle), development skill (.net/Java), networks (set-up, analysis…)
• Project management
• Language skill (English, Mandarin, German, Thai, Vietnamese…)
• Strong ability to work as team member
• Political sense
• Ability to travel (at least 30% of the time) within Asia and occasionally to Europe
• Strong relationship ability
• Analytical and organization skill
• Able to commence work immediately
