System Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities: -

• Is responsible to work with the vendors to provide Business as usual (BAU) Support for Internet OR Credit Card system or ATM Banking applications.
• Able to identify and resolve root cause of a problem causing defects or system issues.
• Perform due diligence when taking over from project teams into BAU mode.
• Provide preventive measures and ensure compliance to RCSA.
• Manage the BAU Software Release cycles.
• Perform system review and propose improvement and prevention measures on current systems.

Job Requirements: -

• Have 3 to 5 years of working experience within a banking environment.
• Have experience in supporting crucial 24×7 Internet web-based production application systems or Credit cards and / or ATM systems.
• Technically competent in AS400 and RPG programming; and/or Tandem Base 24 programming
• Experience in performing root cause analysis of production problems and provide quick service recovery if required.
• Experience in managing Software Release cycle.
• Possess strong analytical & troubleshooting skills.
