The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Pte. Limited is looking for a self-driven, highly motivated, and committed individual to join the Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia) division in the following role.
Research Analyst
You will provide research insights and analyses of consumer usage data (e.g. television ratings, website tracking, mobile usage) to maximize the performance of Disney channels and programs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare regular customized television ratings reports and analyses to support programming and marketing initiatives. Examples are as follows:
o Channel and program rating reports to monitor the overall performance
o Stunt reports to assess programming/creative/marketing initiatives base on ratings performance
o Ratings updates on franchise properties for franchise marketing
o Ratings inputs to affiliate sales training presentation materials
- Prepare regular reports and analyses on new media initiatives (e.g. Disney Channel Asia website)
o Work with marketing department to analyse the usage patterns of the website in relations to the marketing/ promotion activities
o Liaise with Disney Interactive Media Group (DIMG) to extract accurate data from 3rd party or 3rd party software. Resolve any issues with relations to data collection
- Support the preparation of ratings reports and analyses for regional and global requirements (e.g. Insider/Flash reports, Priority Program reports)
- Support ad hoc research requirements (e.g. Grip It data support and implementation review)
- Manage day-to-day administrative duties including delivery of program logs, creating purchase orders and keeping track of invoices and payment
- Liaise with research vendors for day-to-day research operations

Strategic Events Manager
Job Summary :
To strategise, initiate, plan and drive execution for events that meets the company’s objectives through increase of subscribers and usage of services. Working closely with partners, if required, in order ensure events’ success. Develop and drive new events’ ideas that will meet each events objective mapping it with the Brands’ targets. Enlist events agency to assist in each event’s execution.
Plan, develop and churn out communications materials for each event, working closely with creative agency.
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- To initiate, plan, drive and execute events that will help with acquisition and usage.
- Work closely with events agency to ensure events’ success and objectives are met.
- To propose sponsorship ideas, constantly meeting and working closely with vendors for suitable activities but not limited to movies, artistes and musicals for positioning of the brand, ensuring it maps as per the Brands’ objectives
- To plan, develop and churn out communications materials for events, working closely with creative agency to deliver the tasks.
- Ensure each material contains accurate information.
- Prepare proposal for events to be approved.
- Review and monitor Post-Mortem Performance Report for each event.
- Manage and follow up on related issues and / or close project.
- To raise PR and ensure all POs are issued to vendor on a timely basis for the correct job and amount.
Secondary Responsibilities :
- Keep abreast of competitors’ events including display designs, locations, target segment and key product.
- Analyze event sponsorships by competitors.
- Liaise with various departments to keep track of the project progress.
- Monthly report of competitors’ on ground activities.
