The company began production in 1995. It produces high quality Ethylene, Propylene and Pyrolisis Gasoline (Pygas) for the Indonesian and regional export markets.
CA has integrated Polyethylene production facility incorporates world class technologies to produce Polyethylene resins which meet the great majority of demand for Polyethylenes in Indonesia.
The Company has exciting plans for further growth in the production capacity and upgrading of the supporting facilities to meet future market demand.
PT. Styrindo Mono Indonesia (SMI), a subsidiary company of CA, is located in Puloampel, North Serang industrial area of Banten, West Java. The company produces Styrene Monomer since 1992.
Styrene Monomer (SM) is the raw material for downstream industries manufacturing PS (Polystyrene), EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), SAN (Styrene Acrylonitrile), ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber), SBL (Styrene Butadiene Latex) and UPR (Unsaturated Polyester Resin).
PROCESS ENGINEER
Qualifications :
- Experiences in process design related to chemical, oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
- S1 degree in chemical engineering
- Minimal 3 years experiences as Process Engineer
- Good communication, report writing, organization skill and knowledge of engineering standards & code
- Analytical, mathematical and reasoning, familiar with computer software related to engineering/design areas (HYSIS, or ChemCAD, Hydraulic calculations).

SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER (HSE)
I. Responsibilities
Safety Health & Environment Leadership:
- Ensure compliance of all applicable SHE Standard, Objectives as well as laws and regulation on site (including customer regulation).
- Assist Manager in complying with regulatory requirement (e.g UU No 1/1970, Decree 555K/1995 etc)
- Leading by example in demonstrating SHE Standards & regulations.
- Actively support company SHE Program
- Provide the site with expert advice on SH & E issues.
Safety Health & Environment Functional Support:
- Develop, implement and maintain effective site SH & E functions.
- Provide effective incident management & reporting processes.
- Mentor and coach operation personnel to ensure SH & E considerations are included in day-by-day operation.
- Assist site operation in the development of sustainable Safety Management Plan and promote the effective method of the implementation process
- Provide expertise in significant incident management and investigation.
- Facilitate site SH&E plans
Audit Process:
- Manage a system for the effective provision of internal audit functions for the site or region.
- Provide effective follow up on audits and help the sites to overcome identified nonconformance.
