Senior/Electronics Engineer
You will be part of the electronics team to design and develop state of the art electronics for advanced imaging, payload, laser and other electro-optical systems.
You will be involved in designing and developing electronics hardware involving image processing for imaging systems, servo control electronics for payload/turret systems and high power supply for laser systems. You will carry out microprocessor/controller and FPGA based designs, perform simulation and optimization using computer-aided tools. Upon prototype fabrication, you will test and diagnose the hardware and integrate with firmware or software before the final system integration. You are required to create and maintain design documentation as well as provide engineering support on technical issues.
Pre-requisites:
- Minimum Degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience in digital electronics design & development or equivalent
- Experience in Embedded Hardware (Microprocessor/Microcontroller and DSP based) design and development
- Experience in C/C++/Visual C Programming Language and Matlab Simulink
- Exposure to FPGA firmware implementation using VHDL will be advantageous
- Basic knowledge of video standards/timings, digital image and signal processing
- Team player with strong innovative and analytical skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To analyse the production results and establish a relation between results and process parameters in order to maximize the production result,
- To execute in the field all projects agreed with the Production Unit Leaders and coordinate closely with the QA/QC Supervisor,
- To respect all ISO/OHSAS procedures,
- To achieves goals, to study and put in place all necessary actions with regard to machines, raw materials and workforce,
- To takes into consideration safety related problems and determines necessary precautions in organization and usage of raw materials and consumables,
- To propose and execute the necessary modifications for improving the production process,

Catalyst Recovery Singapore Pte Ltd is a company specialized in the regeneration, pre-sulphurization, length and density grading of refinery catalysts. Our regeneration process allows refineries and petrochemical plants to re-use valuable heterogeneous catalysts, thus reducing their operational costs. Our pre-sulphurization process allows refiners to save time on the start up hydro-treating and hydro-cracking units. We sell our services to industrial customers all over Asia Pacific.
We also provide a variety of manufacturing services to the oil, gas and petrochemical industry to such customers as Criterion Catalyst Company L.P. and CRI International Inc., which is a wholly owned, independent subsidiary of Shell. As a result of the growing business in the Asia Pacific , we have a manufacturing plant in Singapore. We seek to appoint as follows:
TEST ENGINEER (location Tuas, Jurong)
The Job:
Reporting to Plant Manager and supervising one Laboratory Technician. You will head the catalyst performance laboratory and under general direction, develops and implements laboratory activity test procedures; performs day-to-day unit testing per standard test procedure include trouble shooting of equipment; collect run data and maintain its record; prepare activity test report and presentation to customer; calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment; ensures compliance with required regulations.
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or a related field.
- At least 5 years laboratory hands on experience preferably in a chemical processing industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Analytical, process and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of general laboratory practices
- Research skills
- Ability to perform tests, evaluate their validity, maintain and compile data for reports with confidentiality.
- Able to maintain and troubleshoot research equipment with knowledge in instrumentation and PLC application.

Qualification:
- Male / Female max 30 years old
