System Engineer
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years working experience of Server network administration and desktop support
- Strong technical knowledge in Server hardware, Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, remote access, SQL Server. Able to perform installation migration and clustering. Having Cisco demonstrated networking knowledge is an added advantage.
- Proficient with Active Directory user management and administration, networking, Internet and security protocols, web and wireless technologies knowledge.
- Diploma/Degree in IT or Computer.
- MCSA, MCSE and CCNA certification is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel and be located in any site within Singapore.
- Able to work under pressure, take imitative and work with minimum supervision
- Must be highly customer focused and diligent towards customer related service issues

Senior Concept Engineer
OBJECTIVES
Together with all designers pursuit the work with design related geometry to facilitate the match between the designer’s wishes and the technical feasibility.
KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Creativity
- Provide input and design solutions that contribute to the success of Electrolux.
- Provide technical prerequisites for Designers and give feedback on design.
- Compile the appropriate hard point models.
- Interface between Industrial Design, Engineering and Prototyping
- Work independently with analyses, technical solutions and give priorities,
- Support all studio work technically and geometrically in order to get correct technical and geometrical status on the virtual/physical models.
- Ensure the development of models according to the right system/geometrical solutions.
- Initiate and/or realize Primary Development technologies and Design Strategies that results in better possibilities according to good design.
- Participating in the forum (internal and external) that is necessary for the interests of Product Design.
- Act as coordinator in technique and geometry work towards all Design Studios
- Create contacts with suppliers within the industry to achieve knowledge on the latest available technologies.
- Establish internal and external networks and partnerships.
- Working with environmental awareness.
Customer Focus
- Strive for best-in class design solutions to meet or exceed the needs of internal and external customers.
Problem Solving
- Identify and participate in solving Product Design’s conflicts between technique requirements and attributes.

OBJECTIVES
Creatively lead and develop physical and digital user interface design solutions of current and future appliances, from initial concept through production.

- Provide creative input and design solutions that contribute to the success of Electrolux.
- Implement Brand Design values (Brand and Product identity) to Interaction designs.
- Dare to innovate, propose new solutions challenging the existing ones.
- Take a forward outlook towards product and market opportunities.
- Interpret and apply new technologies to interaction designs.
- Convert marketing guidelines into interaction designs.
- Drive concept development.
- Inspire, coach and educate junior designers and designers
Customer Focus
- Strive for best-in class design solutions to meet or exceed the needs of internal and external customers.
- Active involvement throughout the entire interface development process from end user needs and idea-generation to implementation, with constant and unique overview of all product areas.
- Incorporate human factors’ engineering and exterior product aesthetics into product’s functional requirements and mechanics.
- Constant and active cooperation with other departments within the Electrolux group.
Problem Solving
- Balance the relationship between product properties, design elements, business goals, marketing directions, engineering pre-requisites, consumer trends, technology and environmental issues.

COMPETENCIES NEEDED
We are looking for an independent and dynamic person with the following profile:
- Masters Degree in Interaction Design or Bachelor/Master Degree in Product Design with at least 2 years of working experience as an Interaction Designer or Bachelor/Master degree in Multimedia design.
- 5-7 years of Industrial Design work experience.
- A proven track record of excellent interaction design performance in previous positions.
- Willingness to travel and represent the Design Team in Multi-Functional meetings.
