We have a distribution chain of over 30 retail outlets and more than 60 takeaway counters at petrol stations and convenience stores island wide. Due to our expansion, we have the following vacancy:

Accountant

Position Description:

• Reporting to Group Financial Controller
• Responsible for overall accounts and financial statements of all entities within Polar Group
• Supervise Accounts Department and liaise with external users of financial information.
• Ensure accounts prepared according to Singapore requirements & generally accepted accounting principles.
• Prepare financial statements on regular and prompt basis.
• Assist in cash flow management.
• Liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare reports and liaise with government depts.
• Other duties as assigned by GFC

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Min. 3 years experience in supervising an accounts dept
• Min. 5 years experience in accounting (experience in F&B is preferred)
• Good communication and computer skills
• Able to work well as a team player and perform well under pressure
• Willing to work beyond normal working hours if necessary

Assistant IT Executive (Woodlands)

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st level end-user support on Windows desktop operation/MS Office applications
• Provide installation and resolve PC/desktop, LAN/Server
• Email/Network and POS issues
• Maintain system inventory and documentation
• Other ad-hoc IT support and related duties
• Required to travel within Singapore

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a “A” or Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is essential
• Can start work immediately advantageous
• Work odd hours.
