Planning Coordinator

We are now seeking an experienced Planning Coordinator to join their team in the heart of Singapore. You will be responsible for assisting the Planning Manager in operations planning, tracking, monitoring for large scale projects for the APAC region. Your key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Planning team to plan and coordinate all projects and related activities for the APAC region
- Assisting in monitoring cost performance, implementing cost controls and resource management, budget summaries and reporting
- Compile project metrics, analyze and work with local teams to implement improvements or actions required
- Use of planning, tracking, monitoring and evaluation tools in a digital mapping environment and provide statistical information to management
- Produce detailed charts and graphs to highlight statistical information
- Monitor and check all projects entries into systems, auditing activities
- Ensure all processes are standardized, properly documented, updated and disseminated
- Other project planning duties as required

Job Description
- Review specification to ensure that they meet user/ company requirements
- Compare quotations & negotiate with suppliers to achieve target pricing
- Undertake cost down activities with suppliers on a periodic basis
- Responsible of purchase orders & shipping documents
- Responsible for international shipment
- Admin support to Accounting
- Inventory Control
- Ad-hoc activities as per instructed by Sales Engineer
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Have at least 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Purchasing Experience
- Good program management, leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good proficiency in English and Mandarin
Location: Woodlands
Working Hours: 8.00am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri) (5 days week)
