ASSOCIATE ENGINEER (RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT)
Responsibilities:
- Assist Engineer to design and develop fishing rod
- Perform evaluation & analysis studies on competitiveness of existing products
- Develop and incorporate effective material selection into feasible products which are marketable
- Present periodical reports on new product developments
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD or 3D software
- Innovative and creative
- Passion in fishing will be an added advantage
- Fresh Diploma holders are welcome to apply
- To be stationed in Batam, Indonesia

ASSOCIATE ENGINEER / ENGINEER (QUALITY ENGINEERING)
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting quality checks on new and existing products in accordance with the Mass Production Authorization Notice & shipment schedule, quality specification and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Quality Target and Evaluation Sheet.
- Prepare product checksheet according to specifications.
- Prepare and verify critical dimensions of gauge / jig designs.
- Review work instruction and process / assembly method with process owner (Shimano Batam & Vendor).
- Check to ensure that service instruction / technical information are in line with New Product specifications and requirements.
- Assist in testing, evaluation and verification of prototypes.
- Assist in design reviews and improvements (prototype stage).
- Assist in analysing and determining the root causes of problems and identifying solutions for improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- Mininum 2 years relevant working experience. Fresh graduates with good academic results are welcomed to apply
- Proficient in CAD / CAE
- Must be independent and possess good communication skills
- Able to perform overtime and willing to travel oversea as and when required
- Passion in Bicycles will be an added advantage
