A western cafe is currently looking for the various position:
WESTERN CHEF/ PASTRY CHEF(WITH COOKING EXPERIENCE)
For WESTERN CHEF
- Assist in cooking and food preparation
- Ensure kitchen safety and food hygiene
- Keep your work area clean and tidy
- Make sure all kitchen equipment and tools are in good working conditions
- Have strong passion for food and enjoy cooking
- Be a team player who takes interest in what you do
- Assist in the daily operations at the back of house
- Assist the chef in specific tasks as assigned in the back of house
- Passion for people & food
- Self-driven with a positive attitude to learn
- A team player with a positive mindset
- Matured thinking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Cheerful disposition with a pleasant personality
- Must be staying in the west(nearby)
For PASTRY CHEF(WITH COOKING EXPERIENCE)
- To maintain all functions of the bakery, maintain all quality and quantity control issues
- To help with production when needed
- Insure quality control in all phases of the kitchen
- Inspect product as they are being made
- Work in conjunction with front of the house and waiters to meet all reasonable requests of guests
- Minimum 2 years of culinary/pastry supervisory experience required
- Responsible for organizing, supervising pastry section
- Able to mix, bake, decorate all product including bread production
- Maintain a clean and safe work area adhering to food safety and health standards
- Ensures food ingredients are stored in their designated area and rotated in the proper manner, and maintains consistency of overall product
- Handles and cleans kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury.
- Must staying in the west( nearby)
