Job Descriptions

You are responsible, in close interaction with the organization’s departments (R&D, Sourcing, Finance, etc.) for the overall management and co-ordination of the customer specific program from concept, planning, development, deployment, fulfillment, maintenance to closure – mainly in Set-Top Box business and other multimedia home devices. You will also support bid management for the creation of the solution for its customer. You are accountable and responsible for the budgetary control of the program as well as customer demand satisfaction, monitoring and responding to issues at the program level.

Being the prime customer interface, you are in charge of identifying and growing all sales opportunities, including professional services, in order to maximize revenues in the account, working closely with the Sales Account Manager. Your other responsibilities include coordination of suppliers/contractual relationships and as the prime internal interface for all program reporting issues to management.

Requirements

  • Master/Degree in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Product/Program Management or related functions. Candidates trained in Project management and/or Project Management Professional Certified are preferred.
  • Ability to lead and drive the decision making process across multiple areas of the business & experience leading cross-functional teams is essential.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively interface with all levels of management, the various skill center personnel as well as the external customer.
  • Strong presentation skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications- Word, PowerPoint, Excel as well as Microsoft Project.

AREA CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER

You and your team will be the after sale front-line Customer Technical Interface and reference for Thomson Grass-Valley Broadcast, Head-End and Transmitters digital TV products in ASEAN region. You are responsible to manage all technical and service related interface between customers, product sales, design engineering, logistic, finance, service marketing, and factories to ensure timely response to customers’ needs and meet strategic goals in service sales, revenue and margin targets.

Your other portfolio includes developing and implementing new service models, organising an integrated team of local call centers, field engineering, logistic supports and customer service order desk as well as improving efficiency of the operations of the customer support team. You will also be responsible for inventory control and delivery processing.

In addition, you will need to cooperate with sales and system integration forces to support and develop technical pre-sale and implementation activities with the technical field service team, you will also support Project Managers during implementation project phase and Bids Managers during demo, architecture design and quotation project phase.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience in managing team of engineers.
  • Relevant working experience in Broadcast and Media industry is preferred.
  • Possess good communication and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic with drive and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-driven with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Must be prepared to work and travel after office hours.
