AREA CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER
You and your team will be the after sale front-line Customer Technical Interface and reference for Thomson Grass-Valley Broadcast, Head-End and Transmitters digital TV products in ASEAN region. You are responsible to manage all technical and service related interface between customers, product sales, design engineering, logistic, finance, service marketing, and factories to ensure timely response to customers’ needs and meet strategic goals in service sales, revenue and margin targets.
Your other portfolio includes developing and implementing new service models, organising an integrated team of local call centers, field engineering, logistic supports and customer service order desk as well as improving efficiency of the operations of the customer support team. You will also be responsible for inventory control and delivery processing.
In addition, you will need to cooperate with sales and system integration forces to support and develop technical pre-sale and implementation activities with the technical field service team, you will also support Project Managers during implementation project phase and Bids Managers during demo, architecture design and quotation project phase.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT or Computer Engineering.
- Experience in managing team of engineers.
- Relevant working experience in Broadcast and Media industry is preferred.
- Possess good communication and presentation skills.
- Dynamic with drive and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Must be prepared to work and travel after office hours.

Infrastructure Support Engineer
Job Description:
- Troubleshooting of LAN / WAN issues.
- Providing first level remote IT support to internal customers/users from various countries. First level IT support includes resolving Helpdesk, desktop and laptop, telephony, mobile issues; troubleshooting connectivity of Company resources to the shared-servers, administration of logging calls and preparing monthly report to the management. In addition, the candidate may require to liaise with respective vendors or service providers, if necessary to escalate issues.
- Triggering 2nd level IT support to Regional Administrators for escalation of issues.
- Maintaining Data Centre including daily backup of servers, monitoring, etc

TECHNOLOGY MANAGER
You will be playing a multifaceted role. You will be responsible as the principal Broadcast engineer for Singapore and South East Asia. You will provide a second line support role to the engineering team as directed by the Operation, of which the portfolio includes understanding business priorities, defining customers’ technical requirements, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as well as planning and implementing local projects in line with business requirements. You are also required to establish and maintain good working relationships with local vendors and suppliers of technical equipment and services.
You will provide technical support to the business development function in Singapore and South East Asia. You will work with the business development team in understanding and defining technical requirements for proposals, producing outline technical solutions, and drawing up budgets for technical Capex and support. You will be required to understand and promote global project’s working practices and preferred solutions and to maintain effective communication with the Global Project team in relation to such initiatives.
In addition, you will report to the UK based Global Project team, participating in global projects in the areas of project implementation and administration.
