Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Limited, is seeking an Upstream Commercial Manager to work in our Upstream New Business Group. The new business group is charged with identifying and evaluating new oil and gas opportunities, via mergers , acquisition and farmins. Reporting to the Upstream Vice President, the incumbent will be responsible for assessing the commercial and financial value of international opportunities, in additional to providing commercial support to other members of the upstream group.

Based in Hong Kong with frequent international travel

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluation of potential upstream (oil and gas exploration and exploitation) assets, providing commercial and financial due diligence, discounted cashflow analysis and ultimate valuations
• Encumbent must be proficient at building discounted cashflow models
• Coordinate and monitor the commercial and financial aspects of the upstream business, including budgets, expenditure etc
• Assist in identifying new upstream business opportunities
• Liaise with external consultants, advisors and contractors regarding these opportunities
• Assist with the communication of other parts of the business in Mandarin, Cantonese and English

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Management, Accounting or similar disciplines
• 10 years relevant professional experience, preferably in oil and gas related industry
• Strong analytical, organization, planning and presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Mandarin, Cantonese and English
• Requires to travel to PRC and internationally
