We are a recruitment consulting firm specialising in the industrial, technology and construction areas.

Our client is a well established international company and a manufacturer of electrical consumer goods. It has a sizeable factory in Shenzhen which employs world class manufacturing as well as supply chain management systems. Products are shipped to European countries and the US.

The Warehouse Manager position is based in Shenzhen. The workplace is English and Chinese speaking.

Warehouse Manager (SAP driven)

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Manager will manage the sizeable, busy warehouse which has implemented SAP (WM module). He/she will oversee all movements and inventory management of inbound materials and outbound (Europe, Japan and the US) finished goods. Tasks will include:

• Manage the warehouse staff including the handlers
• Liaise with colleagues in the materials, shipping, production and accounting departments
• Liaise with enternal parties such as suppliers, customers, auditors
• Maintain the SAP WM module
• Ensure warehouse safety and storage/movement efficiency by maintaining 5S and ISO systems
• Implement C-TPAT
• Oversee maintainence of warehosue capital equipment (materials handling, warehouse automation)

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain Management
• At least 8 years of warehouse or supply chain management experience gained from sizeable manufacturing operations
• Fluent English and Chinese
• Working knowledge of SAP (WM) and C-TPAT
• A stable career history
